Oh, what shall I put up today?

Pictures of the world's cutest baby perhaps? Sure, why not. This was Kelsey's first climbing expedition. Note the lack of oxygen tanks on the baby, though Suz could surely have used one herself.
That's a cute baby.

Catching up!

Looks like Ross beat me to the blogging thing this time! I had planned to set aside some time to catch up today, and I get on and find a new post from this morning. I guess great minds think alike =)! Here are just a few (haha) pics to catch up on the past couple months. Sorry about so many pics.

7 1/2 Months
First Time at the Beach:

Some Cute Faces at Softball:

Those eyes are going to be boy killers someday! =)

8 Months
Six Teeth!!

And a cute laughing video- she was just going on and on!

And those eyes again...

Standing on her own!

And fitting in her onesie that she wore the day she was born:
(Crazy that it still fits!)

A cute pic in a dress I love that is getting too small...at least something is!

8 1/2 Months
In Utah visiting friends

(Kelsey had a blast with their two kids...and we are total bums since we didn't get any pictures to show for it!)

Always finding something little to examine!

At the Salt Lake Temple for my cousin's wedding:

I know, you're all thinking how lucky I am! =)

9 Months
More cute softball pics:

Ross' bro Cameron's graduation:

Housesitting:
(Trying to eat the window, of course!)

Youngest Camper at Girl's Camp (our church's camp for 12-18 yr olds)

She sure loves to peek!

First Time Swimming:
(It was so cold!)

9 1/2 Months:
Father's Day!
Superstar Bottle Drinker!

(Don't ask what the big red splotches on her are...I have no idea. And didn't notice them until I was making this blog post.)

Okay! So that's the last couple of months in a nutshell. She had an absolute blast on our trip to Utah and Idaho, meeting new people, seeing new places, and especially playing with all the big(ger) kids. Since being back, Kelsey has definitely been changing and growing up fast. She must have learned a thing or two from all the big kids!

Can't sleep

Must post pictures of said Super Cute Baby.

I swear we do other things than smother our baby. For instance, last night I 'played' softball. It was bad.

(Note added by Suz: In case you were wondering these pics are all from our trip to Boise, Idaho earlier this month to visit my roommate from college. That's her a couple pics up with her hubby and two kids. Kelsey had an absolute blast, as you can tell, and it was especially fun because their daughter is just 19 days older than Kelsey and they were at basically the same stage too!)

Missing in action...

Okay, so I know we haven't updated in a while, but we were out of town in Utah and Idaho and now we have been house sitting, so I haven't had access to any of our super cute pictures of our baby. And if I don't have any super cute pictures of Kelsey to post, I'm not sure I have much else worthwhile to post....=) So I will have to do the next best thing. Here is a link to some cute pics my sister-in-law and her hubby took at Ross' little bro's graduation on Friday and posted on their blog the next day: http://sweetforbabycakes.blogspot.com/2009/06/graduation-or-how-did-i-get-so-old.html
(Some people are much better at this blogging thing than we are, so we will just have to mooch off them for now.)

So check out how awesome I am

I know what you ladies are thinking... how awesome can he be? My hubby is pretty awesome, so what does this Ross guy think he's got? Well, BAM, prepare to be amazed. I'm about to make an entry that I promised my wife I would make, only one short month ago. See that? That's what you're missing, and what Suz is getting. Take that.

Really though, I did promise Suz that I would make a post about our trip to SF last month and well, I basically slacked. But tonight I wasn't feeling well so I stayed behind to take a nap, while Suz and Kelsey went to see her dad. I napped, I woke, now, I post. Basically, we had a great time. Ron invited us to come up to SF with him and Tyler to see a Giants game and basically play tourist in SF. How could we resist you ask? Well, that's a foolish question. I already told you we went. Not sure what you were expecting me to say.

Oh, and when we got back to our hotel room, Kelsey was going BONKERS just crawling around fast as can be on the bed, going absolutely nuts. Sooo tired but trying desperately to keep playing. We didn't get any great pics, but this one shows how much she dislikes being used as a pillow, I suppose.

The next day we went to Fisherman's Wharf and walked around a bit... and rode a cable car! Sad to say, but this was my first ride on a cable car, and Kelsey's (not so sad there) so we got to have a first together.

She was excited, let me tell you.

It got better anyway. We rode the cable car... she was a little confused at first but seemed to have fun. Anything that involves colors and shapes going past her she loves. An overpass is her best friend.

Anyway, we took the cable car from the Wharf to Market, then walked back, stopping by Max's to have lunch. Walking through Chinatown during the day; probably better than doing it at night. The city can be sketchy. Especially with geeks like us wandering around.

Happy (Late) Easter!

I figured it was about time to share some Easter pics since it has been two weeks already. Here's Kelsey decked out in her Easter outfit. She's not one to smile for the camera these days since she thinks it is a big toy you are waving in her face and not letting her have/eat/play with, but I thought this was a cute picture anyway =).
And here are a couple attempts at a family pic. The second one is the closest thing to a smile we got. It was hard enough for me and Ross to have a picture taken of us we both liked before Kelsey, so it will probably take a lot of practice to get one we like all 3 of us in. (Sorry Ross!)
And here she is on her first Easter egg hunt. Really not digging the cold grass. But at least it didn't take her too long to find them...since we didn't really hide them. And finally a good close up shot after about 20 of them with her grabbing the camera. We also started her on solid foods! Yum yum! (I'm not sure if she liked the rice cereal better or the spoon- which she had to hold herself, of course!)And at the end of the day, I imagine the caption for these pictures goes something like this: "Hey mom, this is more like it! These are the kinds of solid foods I'm talking about!" All in all, it was a great first Easter for our little girl!
