Taking the night off

I took the night off from baby duties last night; I was so exhausted from work, volunteer stuff, school and the late night feedings that I talked my sweet wife into giving me the night off; I got to sleep all the way through while she tended to Kelsey. It was especially nice of her, condiering that it was her birthday yesterday! Can I just say I feel about 1,000,000 times better than I did yesterday. But the trade off was the Suz got the morning off; she's upstairs taking a well deserved nap while I watch our rather fussy since I'm hungry daughter. But all is well. Kelsey really is a sweet heart.

Babies and eating

As it is to be expected, little Kelsey had given Mom and Dad quite the hard time the last few days; Friday and Saturday it was all screams and cries till the middle of the night; this little girl had the most peculiar eating habits. Hence me being up at 4 am warning up some milk for her feeding. I'm tired, as seems to be the case whenever I get the chance to post something on here.

Also hence the gibberish that really doesn't make any sense, that seems funny when I type it and retarded afterward.

Because I am intra-web deficient

And can't figure out how to add a slide show to that previous post, here is a new post, with the same pics as before.

Welcome to our Baby Blog

At any rate the real reason that I have carved out my new little corner of cyberspace (which would be impressive if cyberspace didn't literally have infinite corners), was to brag about my daughter. She's awesome. Way cooler than any baby out there (I know that all of you with kids are rolling your eyes and saying 'My baby is waaaay cooler than your baby Ross' to you I say, lalalalala with my fingers in my ears.) Anyhow, our beautiful daughter Kelsey was born on Sept 9th at 3:16. Suz won the time pool and I think my Mom won the weight pool. I may have won the length pool, where the spread was two inches (what's a spread?) She is by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, second only to my wife (sticks finger down throat and makes gagging sound whilst my wife laughs). She's a new baby, so we have alot of things to learn I am sure, but to be honest, so far this being a parent thing has been alot easier than I expected (haha). She is a happy baby, who sleeps well, eats well (better now that we are getting the hang of it) and is so curious and loves to play. She is so strong, too! We already have to double wrap this sucker to keep those arms in. And she has excellent control of her head. Plus she can throw down awesome break dance moves and can do long division in her head. At least that's what I think she's doing.

Sweet; Welcome to the MacDonald blog

So I mentioned to the wife that I thought we might start a blog; you know, it's all the rage with the young kids these days. I like the idea better than the whole MySpace/Facebook thing. Partly because you have to make friends on those ones or you can't be cool. No such judgments here, where I can dwindle in anonymity and just pretend that I have enough friends that I can delete Tom and not worry about looking like no one likes me. Appearance is everything.

So I don't know how all this stuff works, I don't know what to say, except that I will just throw in my occasional musing and brilliant strokes of genius (did you know that a shark is not a fish? No way!) and of course, nonsensical rambling about things that all others will find inane and pointless, yet I love. Oh, and I am sure you will read a lot about my beautiful, oh so well behaved daughter Kelsey, and my beautiful, oh so well behaved wife, Suz. If you know either one, you love them.
